OUR HISTORY

The Tim and Camille Wilkerson Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering and supporting high school students in their pursuit of higher education. We believe in the transformative power of learning and are committed to creating opportunities that inspire academic and personal growth.

 

We open doors, remove barriers, and equip students with the tools, confidence, and resources needed to reach their fullest potential. We are a community of educators, professionals, and advocates united by the belief that every student, regardless of circumstance, deserves a clear path to achievement and purpose. Together, we are helping young people turn their dreams into degrees, and their potential into lifelong impact.

 

After the passing of Tim’s mother in October 2020, he sought to honor her unwavering sacrifices and the values she instilled through perseverance, faith, and education. Tim and Camille also shared a vision of giving back, establishing a scholarship fund that would lift others as they climb and continue the legacy of love and opportunity Tim's mother modeled.

 

Tim’s journey began at LaGrange High School, where he graduated with both academic and athletic honors. Those formative years shaped his character, work ethic, and drive to succeed. Having once faced challenges of limited means, Tim considers it a profound honor to now give back to his alma mater, helping today’s students realize that where you start does not determine how far you can go.
